2 weeks late

So I was supposed to get my period around the 2nd of July now the 17th. About a week before my period was due I started getting I guess what u would call spotting. I've never spotted between periods and my periods have always been heavy. Was just really watery discharge with a light pink color (assuming blood) and that lasted about 2 weeks but never got my real period looking up online I see that I can be a sign of implantation bleeding. Ik the best way to tell is to take a test but I'm scared to. We've been trying to have a kid at least a year now with no luck. Back in January I had missed a period and about 3/4 weeks later had an early term miscarriage without even knowing I was pregnant I just blew it off as stress so never took a test. Now I'm worried same thing might happen again. Any advice?
