Hi. 23 year old here. So, 4 years ago I quit using Depo-Provera. I used it for a year before I stopped. It stopped my periods, which was great but I gained almost 50 lbs in a year. My period has never been the same since. For the first year and a half after stopping Depo it was completely non existent. For the past two years or so I'll have some spotting (mostly dark tiny clots and old blood) here and there but definitely nothing regular. The past three months it has seemed like I'm finally starting to get back into a cycle. It was still spotty and dark until I started a new cycle yesterday. I'm having cramps and back pain for the first time in 3 years and heavy bright bleeding. I bled through a super absorbency tampon in about 4 hours. I'm now wearing a super plus and a pantyliner because it's so heavy. Maybe my cycle is finally regulating? Or should I be worried? Does anyone have any experience with this?
