Provera-??

Question

Hi ladies, I was prescribed provera because I have not had an af since December.
I have taken my first pill today (7/17) and I'm just wondering how long after finishing the pills should I receive af??
Also, did you ladies experience any side effects?

Answer

I took provera for 7 days and AF came 7 days after my last pill. I started spotting 2-3 days before that (pink/brown cm). My doctor told me it usually take 2 to 10 days for the withdrawal bleeding to start. 
I did not have any side effects WHILE I was on Provera, but as soon as I stopped, I had sore nipples and a horrible hangover feeling for a few days... Also, I am currently on day 2 of the induced period and it is by far the worst period I ever had 😫 Cramping sooo bad and bleeding like hell. Good luck to you and I hope this helped!

I start provera on the 1st so I'm also curious.. my doc said I should get my period on day 8 which is the day after I stop taking it. how many days are you taking it?
