I started having pain in my right side 2 days after giving birth to my son. It got worse and worse. I started having a hard time breathing and by day 4 could barely hold my son. Plus my feet and legs were 5x's more swollen than before. I called the on call dr and she said not to worry. That evening I hurt so bad I couldn't breastfeed my son and I checked my blood pressure. I dealt with low blood pressure during my pregnancy. Now it was 147/97 with my pulse at 56. I could feel my heart beating super hard and slow. I saw my dr asap the next morning. They were definitely concerned and sent me straight for blood work. They called an hour later and told me to get straight to the ER now. Apparently my liver enzymes and some other things were highly elevated. So here I wait to be seen. No sitter was available so my husband is watching our 2 kids and my 5 day old 😞
