What needs to be packed in the hospital bag before we go!? Help! New momma here! 😊

Snacks, cell charger, socks because you get cold, nursing bra, comfy bottoms, any comforts from home, toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, tooth brush, brush, make up if you want it, disposable panties, possible depends/extra heavy/long pads, baby carrier. A thing of cards if you get bored or a book in case your in labor for a while. I'm also bringing my scented eye pillow and Lavender rice bag. Slippers and throw away sandals for the shower. Two outfits for son; a newborn and a 0-3 months old outfit. What they already give you there: pads, witch hazel pads, diapers galore, they let you take the bed padding , a seat to let your Coche sit inTo with warm water to heal it, the peri bottle for squirting yourself as you pee, a blow up seat to ease pain while sitting. They give you also some mesh panties.

I had a c-section with my first, but the first thing going into my bag are things to help me have a bowel movement. That first movement after was almost more painful than the c-section recovery.

Your birthing location may be able to give you a list of what they provide and what they suggest you bring. Ask at your next appointment.

What you take is really a personal preference. I didn't want to use anything provided by the hospital on my child so I took wipes, cloth diapers, and soap. We took a bunch of onesies and a going home outfit. For myself I had a pillow, pjams, shampoo, conditioner, all that. Basically what I'd take to a hotel. For your convenience you can take towels as hospital towels aren't that big. Charges for whatever devices you take, money for the vending machine, a book in case you get bored.
