Hey everyone, I need some help I'm currently pregnant with my first baby. If I'm having a boy my partner wants to get him circumcised it's not something I've ever thought of doing and not something that I want to do I find it unnecessary pain that my child doesn't need to go through but I kinda also need to understand that it's not just my child, the only reason my partner wants it done is because he is and he wants his son to be the same he also states that it's bad because of infection etc... I've tried explaining to him that if you know how to clean it properly and you teach your son how to wash the correct way there's no problem and it doesn't need to be done. I told my partner that if it's something that he absolutely wants to do and ends up doing I'll hate him for it because I don't want to see my child in pain that isn't needed. Am I over reacting? What are your thoughts on the situation?
