Induction means c section ?

I am 3 days overdue and my next appt is on Wed to check on fluid level and a non stress test. If baby boy doesn't come on his own,  I will be induced by Monday.  I would rather go in labor naturally but if I need to get induced, does it and up with a c section?

It doesn't have to end in c section! I got induced and didn't have one, but it does make you more likely to need one.

I'm currently being induced but I'm trying to avoid pitocin because my goal has been to labor naturally. Every time you receive an intervention, it raises the risk of c-section. We are working on using thinning agents right now and have been since 8 last night. The doctors aren't rushing me... I lost my mucus plug about two hours ago and my water broke an hour ago. I'm hoping the thinning agents are enough to get the labor really going and then we can stop interventions. I'm also still eating and drinking and have been given mobile monitoring so I can move around. That helps as well. It was after walking for 5 minutes that I lost my plug, and after I decided to stand and move for a few minutes that my water broke. Good luck!👍🏼

I was induced at 39 1/2 weeks b/c of medical reasons but I was already 90% thinned out & dilated to 3 1/2. He had dropped a lot too. I did have an emergency c-section b/c his heart rate kept dropping & after trying to push with a vacuum doctor said he was gonna go get him. Turns out his shoulders were stuck & it was a good thing we didn't get his head out. That would have happened whether I was induced or not so who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ive been induced twice and had them both vaginally one with an epidural one completley natural my first was 12 hours and my second was 5 :)
