When did you announce?

We had a miscarriage in the fall and are nervous about announcing to the world that we are pregnant with twins. I'm 12w1d today and starting to show which is making life interesting!

I have had 5 miscarriages. After 5 I've learned I always have to tell my family, so they can understand what is going on. I don't agree with staying silent while suffering such a hard loss. And many of our friends knew what we struggled with, because 4/5 were ectopic. And my last almost landed me with losing my tube. So this time when I saw that baby in my uterus.... I was about 8 weeks. I announced once I got to 9 or 10 weeks. To me, if something were to have happen to me I would've needed the support anyway. If you feel like you are ready but not sure. I waited till my next appointment and right after I posted.

My last pregnancy result in a miscarriage at 11 weeks. I'm currently 17 weeks exactly and still only a handful of people know. I don't want to announce completely publicly until we know the gender so the world won't know until around 20 weeks.

I had 3 early losses last year before 8 weeks, so pretty nervous to announce it. I'm 16 weeks today. So far My family and close friends know and I'm announcing at work this week, but probably won't do social media till after 20wk anatomy scan.

I'm 14weeks 5days pregnant with my first, and the last of our friends are finding out tonight! Close family (parents, siblings) found out the night we found out. I woke up and tested at 5am, that night me and hubby were supposed to go out for dinner, so I ran some errands and on my way home picked up dinner. I wrote "For daddy" on his food wrappers and "For mommy and baby" on mine. He was so excited he just has to tell someone. lol

We were nervous too and waited to tell anyone until 13 weeks. Then told family and friends. I'm almost 17 weeks now and have only told a few coworkers. Trying to wait til 20 weeks to tell everyone else at work but this bump is making that hard. Just don't feel the need for everyone to know and I'm a nervous nelly about pregnancy!

I had a miscarriage in April, just before my current pregnancy. Only a few people knew we were expecting the first time, and I HATED telling people that we lost the pregnancy. This time we waited until 12/13 weeks to make the big announcement to everyone, although we did tell a few family members earlier. I'm now 14+ weeks :) Congrats on your twins!
