Really need some help, I'm in major pain here!

Hey everyone, I have a slightly different problem than others on here. I got my nipples pierced a couple days ago and they are hurting pretty badly. I know they will hurt for a little while but I am wondering 1) if someone found a way to make them hurt less/less sensitive, 2) how long they hurt for everyone and 3) how long you guys cleaned them for? It's mostly just the tip of my nipples that hurt, they feel very chafed. I'd really appreciate any and all help, the pamphlet Atomic gave me wasn't very informative. TIA!
