Starting High School?!

So I'm pretty chill about this but I could use some tips about this just like stuff I should know thanks girls!! :p

I just finished my first year of high school and it was really great. I think a really great thing that I did was build relationships with my teachers. Not in a weird way of course lol but if they had a study session after school, I'd attend. I would go visit them and ask questions about things I wasn't grasping very well. I figure these teachers are here to help us, so why not reach out. At some point, you may need a letter of recommendation so having a teacher who knows you well is a great plus. Stay on top of your grades. It's really important to me. Have fun and do high school stuff, but remember why you're there. Be friendly because you'll have to be around these people for the next four years. Don't fall into drama and silly problems like that. If you find your friends in disagreements, don't take sides. Try to distance yourself from that while also supporting them. If you find yourself being pressured to do something you don't want to do, stand up. Be your own advocate in terms of safety, your social life, and your education.
