Faint line hours after taking test

TTC for 6 months after removal of nexplanon bc. My AF was supposed to start on Sunday but nothing yet. So I bought a test from Walmart yesterday evening and It came out negative. This morning I went to throw out the trash and the test is now a faint positive. Could this be false???
