I can't get a tampon in, any tips?

I'm going to the beach and my period has decided to show up! 
 I just tried getting one in but only the tip of the tampon goes in and I can't get the rest in.
 It's extremely frustrating and I'm going in ten minutes !!

Try not to wipe the blood away before getting it in because the blood helps it go in better. Don't tense up, it's more comfortable if you're relaxed and make sure to push it all the way

make sure you aren't pushing the plunger before you get it in there.. .. for some stupid reason the first tampon I tried putting in I put it up to my vagina and pushed the plunger instead if pushing the plastic part inside of me first. lol and if it's the issue of not being able to get the applicator inside then try some lube. it helps at first until you get the hang of it.

using tampons was always stressful and difficult for me. after experimenting a little,  I found Playtex sport tampons worked best for me, and I would put a bit of lube on the tip. relax, take deep breaths, angle it towards your lower back, and wiggle it side to side a little. you can do it! it takes a little practice
