Someone explain?!!

My boyfriend and I are not trying to conceive but use the pull out method. (Would be happy with a baby but not right now) anyways, he always pulls out, but last night he pretended like he came in me then asked if I could feel it.... Then he said he was kidding and went on with sex and pretended he did it again..... Weird? Then finally came and pulled out. Why did he do this? Lol
