When to move baby into her own room?

Is it legit that CPS will step in if our kid does not have her own room? My husband was talking about looking for a place to rent and everything is so expensive we are tempted to get a one bedroom. But his friend said that down in FL (we live in TN) that CPS doesn't like it because it's odd or something? My daughter is 10 months old and will be 11 and a half to 12 months when we move. :/

I know this is old but it’s if they don’t have their own bed - not their own room. She can share your room as long as she has a crib

I have no idea but that's dumb. Someone would need to file a complaint about you first but honestly I think it's stupid to create rules around something that's a cultural norm... because people in other countries co-sleep with their children and we have been doing it for thousands of years... did those settlers living in a one room farmhouse have their children taken away? The indigenous people lived in one room long houses where everyone slept... to me co-sleeping with your child is not an indicator of inadequate care... more like lack of nutrition or clothing.
