Recently TTC with PCOS... HELP
Hello all, my husband and I have just recently started trying to convince. Since I have PCOS we immediately sought out a reproductive endocrinology specialist /OBGYN, he unlike most, did not require us to try on our own for a year first, he said that he would work with us as soon as we were ready and start Femara treatments the very first month. We decided to wait after that appointment for a few months to start treatment and now that appointment is sneaking up (mid September), and I still feel like I know very little about my cycle and what to expect from this. I haven't had a consistent menstrual cycle since I was a teenager and haven't had one at all for well over a year. Our doctor mentioned he doubts I'm ovulating at all so I had my primary care doctor check my hormones on my last visit which all came back perfect and she suggested I use ovulation kits to be sure, according to the cycle my birth control had me on I should be ovulating this week but all my tests have been negative, I want to think my timing is off but it's horribly discouraging to start off on the wrong foot. I would appreciate any input you may have on tracking your cycle and any information any of you may have in Femara or getting pregnant with PCOS or anything to make this process even a little easier. Thank you so much in advance ladies for you wise words and listening ears!
