Scared to take a pregnancy test 😞💔

Had a miscarriage last year 2016 July and we been trying ever since but on and off now we both are really trying for a baby we been trying for 4 months now and I hope today is the month I really don't use ovulation kits they don't work for me. I usually go from this glow app but We had sexual intercourse through my fertility days and half this first month and I'm scared to test I don't wanna feel heartbreaking 😔😔due to what my glow app says my period starts on the 24 it's only 8 days away I don't know if I should test or wait until I see if my period comes down but we still planning to have sexual intercourse all this month !! Need opinions 😔
