Tips for forming the seal correctly

De

Hey ladies! I tried the Diva cup first, and bought size B becuz I've had a c-section. It leaked on me often, even when I was sure I had inserted it properly. I became concerned that it was too big.. doctors have always told me I have a narrow vaginal canal so I'm built a little smaller than usual (my baby was 5 lbs and she got stuck, so I'm inclined to think they might be right). Anyway, I did some research on the Lily cup and ordered one. It's much softer than Diva cup and has an inner rim to prevent spilling during removal. I even like the shape of it better than Diva cup. The website also recommended the SMALLER size for c-sectioned moms instead of the larger size, so that made me hopeful. Of course, I'll have to wait until next month to try it out, but I'm curious if anyone else out there has ever been told they're narrow and still uses a cup? I feel a bit insecure about my anatomy and wonder if there are certain women whose shape just won't accommodate a menstrual cup. Any thoughts?

I'd also love some tips on how to make sure the seal is formed so there aren't any leaks. About how long did it take to get the hang of inserting it correctly?
