I just got some bad news and needed to vent somewhere

Victoria

bear with me please... so for the past 3+ years I have been dealing with almost constant shoulder pain. my first doctors in Maryland sent me to physical therapy for 3 months, 3 times a week. they ran no tests. I even went as far as trying dry needling.

fast forward to three months ago... I am now living in Florida and my shoulder pain is getting worse. I go back into the doctors, 2 sets of x rays and a shot of cortisone I have no relief and no answers... I was refused an MRI by the orthopedic surgeon who insisted I take the cortisone or get out of his office. I go back to my regular doctor and they order an MRI.

today I got my results... I don't know how to read these things so if anyone can help I would love it...I am attaching it to this post... my mom showed the results to the lead physical therapist at her nursing home (she is well versed in reading MRI reports) and she said that I will be requiring a very complex surgery and will most likely be unable to use my arm for 3 months... this sucks!!!

thank you for your support!

I have no answers for you, but I wish you the best. Shoulder injuries and shoulder surgery are rough. I had ac joint surgery and recovery was hard and painful. The shoulder joint is complex, with a lot of movement, which is why it's so painful. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
