Just a gentle reminder to hold onto your loved ones a little tighter. A few nights ago we lost my mother-in-law. We almost lost her in February 2016 but she won that fight... This was a day we knew could and would happen, but we didn't expect it so soon. Late Saturday night/early Sunday morning, our worst fear came true. It's like a bad dream we can't wake up from. No one was expecting it and no one got to say good bye...

Even if you don't like your in laws or certain family members, cherish them. There's nothing harder than seeing your SO lose their parent (aside from other hard things, you know what l mean). His mom was only 42. Now her 22 and 18 y/o sons are putting her to rest.
