Ugh! Just a rant.
Has anyone else had their doctor/midwife or one of the ones on rotation (you know, that they make you see "just in case") talk down to you and rush you out of the office? I love my midwife, but at my last appointment I had to see one of her partners, "just in case." I don't know what it was, but when she walked in I knew it was going to be an awful appointment. She was condescending, acted like I didn't know what was going on with my own body, DEFINITELY didn't even glance at my chart before she came in (she made the comment that "new mothers" don't feel the baby kicking until "at least 20 weeks" and seemed surprised when I told her that since this isn't my first child I knew all of that and that it WAS possible for me to feel things a little early; she was surprised when I said it wasn't my first child) and she literally spent less than 10 minutes with me. What time she did spend with me, she was more interested in my husband than me....and oh yeah, she's sending me to the OB clinic/practice that I transferred AWAY FROM after being SEXUALLY HARASSED by a DOCTOR there for an ultrasound that isn't necessary 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
