Baby shower at a bar?!

Would you have your baby shower at a bar ? Opinions ?

Only if it were a bar/restaurant. People like to eat at showers. It would be a little weird if all they could do was drink.

Why not? I personally wouldn't want a traditional shower with everything pink and games and cupcakes, etc. anyway. I would much rather have a BBQ or happy hour shower where all my friends can have a good time and they can have drinks, too. So for something like that a bar makes sense. I'd say it depends on the type of shower you want.

Go where is right for your group. I voted no for my situation - too many drunks in the family and it'd lead to drama. Otherwise it could be fun!

My husbands cousin had her baby shower at the bar she works at and it turned out really cute and fun! I was skeptical at first but everyone ended up having a great time. It was probably the best baby shower I've ever been to lol

Its wherever the place you want to go is.. Some people are more comfortable at places like that then parks or restaurants. As long as its still appropriate it shouldn't be a problem

I'm Irish and a lot of functions are in the back room of the bar. Not that big of a deal for my family. Enjoy it.
