After laproscopy for endometriosis excision

Jessi 🤰

Hi all, I've been doing nothing at glow for months now, except charting periods. I wanted to write an update on my TTC journey of approx. 2 years. It might help some of you, and I might get some good suggestions too. In a saline infusion scan, the fluid didn't pass through my tubes and I was told my tubes might need to be cut off to help with ivf. I was scared and put it off for months. After requesting doctor to keep my tube for now risking the need of a second surgery before ivf, I had the laproscopy done yesterday. My tubes are fine, yay! and the doctor also flushed it more :) My problem turned out to be severe endometriosis instead, and they have removed the adhesions. I wonder if it's the reason for my 48 hour long ovulation pains as well. I had brought up endometriosis with doctors before but looks like it's hard to diagnose. Well I have some hope now. I'm getting closer to my ivf date but I do want to try iui/monitored cycles. SO has morphology/mobility issues too. Any suggestions on best option forward? With ivf, does it need frequent day offs from work?
