Having friends Kissing/holding your Newborn
Backstory of my question: So, most of our babies will be here in about a month and a half to two months. Just read an article of a family in Iowa that had someone, who had a cold sore, kiss and hold their healthy newborn child. (obviously the parents were unaware of the cold sore) the baby contracted meningitis. and in 18 days the baby passed away.
I don't know how to bring it up without sounding harsh or making people feel bad if I don't want them to be kissing or holding our baby. I have a good month or so to prepare for responses. any advice??
