I had a baby on the 4th of July. 2wks ago. She's been in the NICU since birth. We don't have confirmation how much longer she'll be in there but let's say between now and 2wks if her recovery goes well. I have two other kids 9 and 11 years old.  They aren't allowed to visit the baby in the hospital. The first week I sent them to my mothers house 3+ hours away so I could be with the baby. But my mom works FT job so I had to pay for YMCA care. The second week they came back and I put them in a summer day camp but for two kids it was $500, I was hoping baby would be out but she's not yet. I don't have any family or local help. I can't be at two places at the same time. I tried taking them to the hospital but they're not even allowed to be on the same floor as the NICU so when I'm with the baby I'm worried about them in the waiting area on a different floor. I can only stay a few hours (like 2, maybe 3 if I go back and tend to them in between) but I feel I need to be with my baby. I feel she needs me to heal. This daycare stuff is pretty costly and I'm just running out of options. Does anyone have any ideas?
