Were you and your SO able to stay together and move forward if one of you cheated?

I'm just curious to see how many couples have made it work if one of them has cheated in the past.

2 of my past boyfriends cheated on me. I tried to forgive the first one and move on (we were in high school and I was afraid of being alone), but once he admitted that he had cheated, I could never look at him the same way again. Same with the other one. I believe cheating destroys relationships completely and very rarely is trust able to be rebuilt. Even if the couple does move on, there will always be lingering trust issues.
