Labor soon? 🙏

Question

Just reached 36 weeks, 2cm dilated & 80% effaced! Doctor could feel baby's head during my check up! Been having some cramping/mild contractions and pelvic pressure, and have had 3 bowel movements today (tmi) lol hoping this all means baby is coming sooner than expected!

I know you're ready to be done, but at 36 weeks baby still has plenty of developing to do, so it's best to just hang in there and wait patiently. You want your baby to be the healthiest it can possibly be!

I am 38 weeks, 80% effaced & 1 cm dilated. I am hoping baby girl holds out another week ( at least). I begin my scheduled maternity leave on Thursday (today is Saturday) and I really would hate to go into labor at work. :) I'm hoping she hangs in until at least April 3rd....I am not due until the 10th & I expected to go late, not early!!

I've been this way for nearly four weeks. Doesn't necessarily mean you're going into labor anytime soon.
