Hi so this might be a weird question but I was never good at telling when my period officially starts and officially ends...

For me ill spot for a couple of days before actually have a flow...so I don't know if that is worth marking as my period has started or do I wait till I actually have a flow..and idk for you guys but for me at the end its almost brown and idk if that is just considered spotting or if I mark that as I'm still on my period....I'm just confused on when it really means ur period started and when it really means it ended...do u guys track it by actually having a flow or if just any type of blood is considered period....thanks again hopefully it makes sense.
