Having kids will magnify some relationship problems. Intentionally having a baby to "fix" a relationship is NEVER  a good idea.

How nasty to each other are you when you fight? Now imagine that magnified times 100 in a custody battle and when your motherly instincts take over.

Babies do not save relationships. No child should ever be brought into this world by selfish parents who burden that child with the monumental task of fixing a relationship that not even the two adults in the situation can resolve.

This poll does not reflect my relationship at all. Yesterday I was talking to someone who said she had a baby to fix her relationship and it made it worse, and now she's in a new one and wants to have another child! It got me thinking and I wanted to see how other people felt as well.

Kids do not make a relationship better!  If you are having problems when you are fully rested and can devote all your time and attention on each other you are going to break when you have children.  My husband and I are rock soild and there are weeks I can feel the edges wearing thin.....

Everything is still the same. Having a baby just made things worse. Having to do everything by myself. Last time I checked I wasn't a single parent! Babys don't make things better.

Having kids makes bigger problems. Problems in a relationship may be serious, but custody battles are extremely unfair to a child.
