Baby shower?

Question

Does anyone not have a baby shower? its our first rainbow baby so i wanna celebrate but all my friends and family are living very far away (at least 5-9 hrs fly), i only have my husband's side nearby :( sad and just wanna rant a little bit. 
Btw i bought everything we need for baby so pls dont judge that i expect anything from the shower, i really just wanna celebrate something for this baby coming soon...:)

I'm in same situation and did not have a baby shower. Instead, I'm doing a "sip and see" - casual meet/celebrate the baby - with my husband's side and when I can get to my family (far away), with them as well. Like you, I didn't want a shower to get gifts (particularly from my MIL's friends I barely know) but the sip and see idea offers the celebration aspect! 
I've also noticed that though I bought most things myself, I also received very generous gifts from family and friends without having a shower. I've found the people who want to give you a gift will do so regardless of the obligation of a shower.

Have a baby shower anyways! Even if it's only ur husbands family! Who cares it's for you! I had a baby shower for my third baby and I told everyone there was no need for gifts I just wanted to celebrate my pregnancy ❤️

I didn't have an actual baby shower, but my sister made an event on Facebook with our registry information so that if anyone wanted to buy something for the baby, they could :)

You can do a Diaper Shower! My aunt did on e because it was her third and they already had pretty much everything they would need, except diapers 🙂
Or you could always wait until after birth and do a Welcome Baby Shower to celebrate.

This is my 3rd daughter otw I have a 16yo and a 13yo both girls!!! I never had a baby shower ever this will be my first and I'm so excited and scared!!! I feel like I missed out not having one before but hopefully this makes up for the nagging feeling of not ever having one!!!

I tried and scheduled one sent out invites bought decorations but the weather was too bad

Tell your family when it is and have them ship you gifts. Open them on Facebook live!

Wait until baby is old enough, go visit them, and have a little meet the baby party. You could do a diaper and book shower with your guy's family before baby comes.
