left pelvic pain

woke up with left pelvic pain...
12 dpo and 2 days till AF. 
all tests are negative but I am experiencing many early pregnancy symptoms. wondering if anyone has experienced left pelvic pain and if so was it from your period or pregnancy? I have never experienced this before!
