It says your baby "may" start doing that. Not that your baby is suppose to do it. Just means to look out since they're going to start progressing

dont worry.  all babies progress in thier own time, it says most babies can by 9 OR 10 months.

I feel like each baby figures things out in their own time. If it makes you feel better, the girl I babysit wasn't walking until 15 months but is now a great athlete and very bright student. Unless a professional assesses your child and says something is wrong, don't worry in the slightest about what an app says is average.

Mine can but my friend's baby that is two weeks older just started sitting up (she's 9 months) and a Co-worker has a son 3 weeks younger (so just hit 8 months) and he is still having head control issues.

Not mine! My oldest didn't stand up till like 10 months...my baby right now who is 8 months isn't crawling either but my oldest didn't crawl till 9.5 months so I'm not worried.  I don't pay attention to that stuff anymore.
