nipple stimulation and labor?

I'm posting anon because I'm actually a little embarrassed to be asking this. I have been told that nipple stimulation can cause labor to start. I always assumed it meant pumping early, but I was wondering if my husband playing with my nipples during sex would also cause it to happen? Probably a dumb question, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

It didn't do anything for us. We had sex on my due date and every day after and I was 3 days late even with stimulation.

I noticed my colostrum came at 37 weeks when my husband and I had sex and he was stimulating my nipples. But as far as pumping I'm not sure if you are supposed to because the colostrum is what comes in first and it's what helps the baby so much in the first few days. FTM though so I don't know for sure what the right thing is to do. But stimulating my nipples definitely seemed to be what made my colostrum start coming. No baby yet though!
