This is TMI POST. I thought I would share this.
I had a doctor appt today. He told me about yeast infections. I do not have one but I asked because it's on this app. He told me this.
If you wear thongs (I always, but not during AF) you are higher risk for yeast infection (YI). Wear them a size too big so they aren't tight.
Washing yourself is very important. He told me never go from butt to front but front to butt. Use summer eve soap with good ph. He says with clean fingers wash gently every surface. Spread labias and rinse well. He says soap not rinsed can cause problems.
If you get a YI, the discharge will be smelly. You will need medication.
