Soft markers?

So I got a call today from my ob talking about my anatomy scan and she said that there were two soft markers one on his heart and one in his head.. does anyone know anything about these? Maybe shed some light to ease the wait til the 8th where we go back for a repeat scan?

My oldest had a soft marker on his heart which showed up as a white spot on the us. It ended up resolving itself, he's 2 and perfectly healthy!

I am assuming the ones in his head are choroid plexus cysts? Those are extremely common and usually disappear with time. Two soft markers are not too much of a concern. They will look even closer at baby with a level 2 ultrasound and see if they find anything more. Most likely your baby will be just fine!
