I'm so confused. Shouldn't this be positive?

So I have a blank smiley face but the lines look positive to me. I have had this digital test for a few months now. Can it be faulty. Or is this just negative?

no. they're not faulty. read the instructions! it does say, that you should ALWAYS read what the digital test reads & DO NOT go by what the lines say on the test once ejected, as they ALWAYS have 2 lines regardless. keep testing! good luck 🤞

Is it your first time using the test because each month you start the test on the First day your will always get a blank circle as the machine reads your ' natural ' level of Hormones and as you get closer to ovulation the hormones rise and the test will detect that and give you a positive that's why your meant to test around 8/9 days before you think ovulation is due to give he machine time to read your hormones, these tests are brilliant I fell pregnant on my second month with these you just have to make sure you read the instructions properly

It's not faulty. The digital tests, you can't rely on the lines. Are you supposed to be ovulating? Do you have ewcm? I got my peak fertility smiley face today and I looked at the lines and they are not even.
