When did you start taking prenatal vitamins?

I've been getting many answers. Some say wait till you actually conceive. Some say yes start taking them right away. I've even heard it increases the chances of getting pregnant.

Start taking them when you start TTC. That way you are getting all of the vitimans you need for when you get pregnant. You won't find out that you are pregnant until at least a few weeks in so this way your baby is already being taken care of even before you know it's there.

I started taking them the same day I stopped using birth contol.. And honestly it's not going to hurt to start making a nice home for a soon to be baby.

I started a month prior to ttc.. We've been ttc for 2+ months and I'm still taking them.

I've always heard to start taking them before you start ttc. I started taking them each time the day I found out o was pregnant, because our first we just decided to try around ovulation time and my second we weren't technically TTC. I'm about to start taking them again because we plan to start ttc in a few months.

As soon as  I got a positive, but research suggests starting them 6 months before ttc. It helps many different things and gets everything where it should be when you do get pregnant... it only helps :) so this time I've started before getting pregnant...
