Long story short, my crush started being extra nice to me for no apparent reason. Being the stupid and gullible girl I am, I went along with it. Fast forward to a week later and he invited me to get Starbucks with him where he pretty much swept me off my feet. He paid for my drink, held me, and told me how smart and beautiful he thought I was. I thought it was all too good to be true. The next night he called me and we talked for a bit before he asked me if I would mind going out with him. Something in the back of my mind told me that I should tell him that "I'll think about it" and I should've listened to it. But, I told him yes. Then he goes "Really?" and asks me questions like "how long have you liked me?" and "why do you like me?" and I'm pretty much spewing some mushy, embarrassing shit because I thought only HE was going to hear it. But nope!!! Soon I hear a roar of laughter coming from his phone and someone yell "I knew she'd say yes!" He had me on speaker so that all of his friends could hear. I hung up and just freaking cried. I have no idea how he found out I liked him??? But since then I haven't seen him around campus or heard from him since. I'm a fucking fool to think he or anyone else could've possibly be interested in me :/
