Clean up after sex...?

Taboo topic here. What do you do after sex to make sure semen doesn't come out of you for the next few hours? I mostly use a light tampon, but am I alone in this??

So, you're wanting to "cork" youself after sex (correct terms aside)? As annoying as it is to stand up and get a gush of fluid from a hour ago, it is a way of your body trying to clear itself out. Wearing a tampon to hold it in is a bad idea. It's part of being a woman.

This has never made sense to me. Semen is not sperm. But what's the difference of it coming out or using a tampon? A tampon is not a plug. It absorbs any fluids it comes in contact with....

Tampons are meant to absorb... Wouldnt it just absorb any excess semen? My opinion is those speedy sperm can get where they need to go w/o a tampon.

I "wipe"  as if I had just peed ,  than I use a pantry liner to absorb any leaking.
