Preseed? Is it recommended by Docs

I just bought preseed, mostly for comfort really. Since discontinuing BC, it's been uncomfortable and dry for me. I read many reviews and that this type of lubricant was safe for TTC. but I've also read that it can help you conceive which is just added bonus for me... I've also read a few things that it affects the stability of the sperm that does reach the egg, and can cause chromosomal abnormalities. How true is this? Do GYN's recommend this product? Just feeling a little nervous now to use it 😐
