So I was referred to the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit today as i'd been experiencing some pain. My HCG has tripled in the past 48 hours so that's great, they did a transvaginal scan and found some fluid which could be a burst cyst which could explain the pain, no evidence of an ectopic which is great news..as i'm really early (i think 5 weeks but by the scan could be even earlier) you couldn't see much but they found 2 possible sacs, 'A' measuring 4x3mm and 'B' measuring 3x3mm, what are the chances of this being a twin pregnancy? has anyone else had a scan this early that looks like this and had twins or had the same but only had 1 baby? freaking out over here!!
