I had like a crush on a guy three years ago and after few months of meeting him he liked me back and we had our ups and downs. Whenever he tried to kiss me I would try to avoid him and he never succeeded. We never touched except for bear hugs. Last year a new girl came into school and he started focusing on her and ignoring me. She didn't let him joke with him while I did, she never accepted his compliments of gifts while I did. This year she started talking to him and she became one of my closest friends. But we never talked about him. Then one day I told her and she wanted to help me fix things but instead then used to talk even more than me and him and they went out together once and she told me that she was starting to like him and she was scared to tell me because I liked him and she knows he used to like me back. While I was on vacation, I told him after weeks of not talking together. After two days she told me that he talked to her but she didn't mention what happened. Two days ago she told me everything and the sad thing is that he asked her to be his girlfriend and she said 'no'. Now I don't know how to feel. Happy for them and sad about myself. Wtf is this?
