Anyone have to put baby on Zantac?

Our doctor finally prescribed Zantac after moving from newborn formula, to gentlease, to soy and my poor baby still being extremely uncomfortable. We're hoping to see an improvement with the medicine. Anyone have experience with this? What was the outcome? We are going to try to go back to milk based formula with the Zantac too. Fingers crossed!

Oh my god I was mortified when I first read this... my mind read it as Xanax 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I'm so glad it finally registered! I was having a mini heart attack!

My son was on Zantac for about a year. It helped a lot. Didn't get rid of it fully, but definitely helped.

My son was on Zantac for a year. He took the minimum dose for his weight so he could keep most of his food down. He was still a spitter but he was comfortable and gaining weight. I took him off it at 1 but he still spit up until 16 months probably but much less than the first year

LO has been on Zantac since 3 weeks and she's 8 months... not sure if she's outgrown her silent reflux but we do notice that when we up the dosage she has WAY less hiccups... she didn't really stop arching and crying during feedings until I changed my diet - Zantac is weight dependent though so you'll have to up the dosage regularly. We tried Prevacid for a a few weeks and it gave her gas so we went back to Zantac ... Prilosec and Nexium are other options as well

I didn't give Zantac but sought help from a chiropractor who helped us.

We did Pepcid for reflux. It was like a new baby. She wasn't in pain after bottles anymore. It was night and day.
