making the switch from formula to milk?

So he's approching 1 year .. he still drink 5-6 9oz bottles of formula a day plus 3 meals n snacks .. am I supposed to give him that much milk when we switch.. really not sure how to do it.

Answer

We're in the same boat. He has to eat  lot of solid food to get enough nutrients and iron, so don't cut him off. I'm introducing whole milk is his bottles of formula slowly, and working to feed him more and more. 1 year isn't a hard cut off, but it is time to kick solid foods into high gear.
