I'm a week late 😐

Hello ladies, I am 8 days late! I took a test when I was three days late and it was negative and I've been waiting patiently for AF to make her appearance, but she hasn't yet. My entire body is sore. Should I take a test? Or continue to wait for her to show up? My periods are regular and have been for over a year but I was also on the depo shot for five years (didn't know the harmful causes, when I did research I immediately got off) and have been off of it since January 2016. TIA! ❤️💛
