Hi ladies! I got my Mirena IUD inserted on March 15th, 2017, and my periods have been pretty irregular. I had spotting and my period for 25 days straight in April through May, but then it stopped. My next period was only three days long through June 8th-10th, and I haven't had my period since then. I am sexually active, and my boyfriend and I don't use condoms because of the IUD, however I don't have any pregnancy symptoms and was wondering if this could be a side effect of the IUD. I was told by the doctor that my period may stop after 2 years after insertion, but it has only been a few months. Thoughts on this??? Thank you ❤️

Edit: My period is 1 or 2 weeks late, and I'm usually irregular so I'm probably just being anxious about being pregnant (I turn 18 tomorrow and don't want kids until much later on!), so I'm hoping it's just a side effect!
