New to cups/ lunette vs valve stem cup)

Bree

Today I inserted my very first period cup. I bought two different ones to try off amazon and combined they still cost less than ONE at the convenience store. I got size small in both because I haven't had a kid. I got diggigold -this one has a longgg stem and a valve to release menses without having to remove the cup (they say you can leave this in the duration of your period and just push the valve to empty. It is medical grade silicone but I'm not sure how safe this option is yet?) The other one is called lunette and it is a regular cup they require you to take out rinse and replace every 12 hours. Today I have diggigold in. It was awkward and slightly hard to insert (this is to be expected with any new user of any brand) I got it in and wiggled it around to make sure it was in place and opened fully per the instructions. I will say it is a little awkward because of the long stem. Everyone is different but it protrudes about 1/2cm and I can feel that part 🙄🙄. I am guessing this sensation will go away the longer I have it in. Update tomorrow!😊

Happy periods goddesses 💕
