I had that for literally the whole of my 34th week!! I turned 35 weeks two days ago and not felt a thing since. Apparntly it's a big stage 34 weeks for final stretching ect of womb to accommodate the last few weeks of baby's growing who will put on 1-2lbs on next weeks (midwife said this)

I say not normal. I would say you should follow up with your doctor. May be nothing but better safe than sorry.
