so i've been asked to have sex with someone that i really care for and we're getting serious. but i'm scared to have sex and be naked and open because... i don't have nipples. like i have areolas but there's nothing that sticks out and i just don't feel comfortable with him seeing it. what should i do?

Every BODY is different - especially when it comes to genitalia and absolutely everyone has insecurities about their body and appearance. 
You would actually be surprised at how common inverted nipples or even no nipples are (obviously one groups of people who often face the same issue are breast cancer survivors). 
Its a compliment when someone finds you attractive but I think it's possibly even more important to love and accept your own body. Confidence comes with age and experience so until you have those you might have to fake it a little before you make it.

Do you mean you just have flat or inverted nipples? Because I have inverted nipples too and I used to be self conscious about them until I realized no guy has ever said a thing about them. I was the only one who noticed or cared.  
If you really don't like them you can get them pierced and they'll stick out and look like "normal" nipples.  That's what I did and it's made me so much more confident in the way my boobs look in general.
