Gender Neutral Baby Shower. Help!
So this is nothing in any way against people who like to dress their little girls up like princesses or anything. My husband & I personally just aren't crazy about frilly stuff, we're very outdoorsy/minimalist people and we both love neutral colors/clothes with patterns rather than large font and such. (Again, nothing against people who enjoy girly stuff, just not our style) so anyways
We just found out we are expecting a little girl and don't really want a gender reveal but still plan to have a baby shower. While I'm appreciative of any gift and support from friends & family I'm trying to figure out wording on invitations that don't scream "girl." Were having a gender neutral nursery either way (adventure themed.)
Was hoping some of you might have experience or advice on this topic? Just basically need ideas on how to word invitations without being too forward about not wanting frilly tutus & such. Thank you so much in advance! If you don't agree with my views on this then please keep your opinion to yourself! Just looking for some friendly advice 😊
