My mom just told me heart attacks doesn't happen out of the blue?

my mom said heart attacks happen when their is something wrong with your heart. she said i have no heart problems and my ekg came back excellent. Different people keeps telling me young people under 30 or over can have a heart attack but i am just sitting here thinking that heart attacks occurs in thr elderly like over 60 years old. yes i have anxiety but i try to keep my mind busy to keep from thinking about negetive things like the one i am asking as my headline. i am just trying to find answers basically so i can stay calm.

well... it's true that heart attacks stem from other problems, they don't just happen but a person might not know they have heart issues so it might seem out of the blue. while young people can have heart attacks it's really rare. why are you worried about a heart attack?

Anyone can have a heart attack and it doesn't always have to be from heart problems... smoking high cholesterol stress weight and even some medications including birth control can put you at risk for a heart attack

My dad had his first at 48 and had heart surgery right after. Had his second heart attack at 51 and second heart surgery. He had cholesterol issues that led to him having heart issues.

Did you have a heart attack? cause the way you worded it, it may had just been a panic attack. I have bad anxieties also and ended up having a panic attack so bad I thought I was dieing, I couldn't breathe and my chest hurt really bad but it was only a panic attack (the worse one I ever had) but what ever it was I hope your okay ❤️

My dad was 57 when he has a heart attack and had to have a triple bypass. He had an awful awful diet though.

um anyone can have a heart attack out of the blue at any age unfortunately. you can't see through your body to see cardiac issues...often there are no warning signs. if you are really worried go to your md for a full work up and seek therapy for your anxiety

One of my family members had a heart attack at 20 years old now she cant move her right arm. Its possible. She was perfectly fine.
